The juxtaposition of emo and synth-pop may sound like an abominable bastardisation of all that is right and just in this world, but amazingly, on this evidence, it would appear to work. And rather well too, right down to the Gregorian chanting at the end. Bouncy, effervescent disco pop with just a smidgeon of angst thrown in, this is a heady and potent neon broth.
