Making Eighties Matchbox look like Butlins Redcoats (Guy McKnight doing the Macarena, now that would be a trip), everything about The Horrors is unnerving – the demented keyboards, those Nurofen squiggles, the background Cossack cheers – but most of all, the fact that they’re doing all this while still teenagers. Dementia waits in the wings and rubs her hands with glee.
