OK Go : Get Over It

OK Go : Get Over It

Could grate across an entire album - but rocks in short bursts.

Chicago four-piece OK Go spent last year on the road in America with [a]Vines[/a] – their live show, by all accounts, giving mad little Craig a run for his loony money. Here, they introduce themselves to the great British public with a playful dig in the ribs that is part Weezer art-rock (“Got a job/got a life/got a four-door and a faithless wife”), part Kiss punch-the-air joie-de-vivre. It’s a power-pop hit-in-waiting. Could grate across an entire album – but rocks in short bursts.
