Almost 18 months ago, it seemed that development on ‘Terraria’ was coming to a conclusion. There was the ‘Journey’s End’ update, which was the fourth major expansion which hit in May 2020 which was designed to bring the game to a place where it was considered “complete”. However, then ‘Journey’s Actual End’ was released on October 13th, 2020, and that was it: properly finished this time. Or not, as it seems, because the developer Re-Logic is back for another update, fittingly titled the ‘Labour of Love Update’.
It had been previously known to be coming, but Nintendo has announced via a blog post the official date that it will be closing the eShop for 3DS and Wii U purchases, meaning that if you wanted to buy a game or even enjoy retro titles to “own” digitally, you won’t be able to do that after March 2023.
First teased via a free online test of sorts, Konami has since confirmed that the beloved ‘Pro Evolution Soccer’ (or ‘Winning Eleven’ in Japan) series is changing its name and will be called ‘eFootball’. It’s going free to play with premium content available as addons, and it’s due out in Autumn this year.
