In mid-October we heard the first single from Noel Gallagher's new album 'Chasing Yesterday’. Despite the album title, wrote Al Horner, "‘In The Heat Of The Moment’ doesn’t sound like surrender, even if it does embrace Oasis’ stadium-ready guitar grind, chant-along vocals and defiant sneer: "They tell me you’ve touched the face of God,” Noel sings like a man laughing as he’s led to the gallows, “the sound of a rope cracking on your neck.”"

We're streaming the next taster exclusively - it's 'Do The Damage', the B-side to 'In The Head Of The Moment' and, dare we say it, an even better track. Here's Noel:

Do The Damage? It might be the 23rd best song I ever wrote. It was - for about a year - gonna be the opening track on the album until the 22nd best song I ever wrote appeared
