Further investigation ordered into Chris Brown case
Police delve deeper into domestic violence charges allegedly involving Rihanna
Police were ordered today (February 10) to continue investigating the domestic violence allegations against Chris Brown.
The 19-year-old R&B star turned himself in to Los Angeles police on Sunday after he and his girlfriend Rihanna cancelled their appearances at the Grammy Awards. Brown was arrested on suspicion of making felony criminal threats, as previously reported. It is believed that Rihanna was the alleged victim of the attack.
Now the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has ordered the LAPD to do more investigation before presenting their case. Rihanna is cooperating with investigators building a domestic violence case against her boyfriend, a police source told the Los Angeles Times.
Brown is currently out on $50,000 bail. He reportedly left Los Angeles on a private jet, and is due to return to face the charges in court on March 5.
