I AM KLOOT CALL THE DOCTOR!
The Mancunian band get some otherworldly assistance...
I Am Kloot
have joined forces with an unlikely ally
in the form of 'DOCTOR WHO'.
But the collaboration is not as otherwordly as it seems, with the trio hooking up for their new video with Christopher
Eccleston, the actor set to play the lead role in the forthcoming new BBC series.
Eccleston stars in the video to the band's new
single 'Proof', set for release on June 14 trough Echo. A fellow Mancunian, the actor fell for the band during their five-night residency at the city's Night & Day Café last year. They decided to work on the video with mutual friend and filmmaker Krisher Stott.
Christopher Eccleston will be the ninth actor to play the cult sci-fi role for television. Doctor Who returns to the BBC in 2005 after 16 years off air. Writers include 'Queer As
Folk' writer Russell T Davis and 'The
League Of Gentlemen''s Mark Gatiss. Rumours
are rife that Billie Piper will play the Doctor's
assistant.
