The Flaming Lips have announced details of a four-date UK tour set to take place in May.

The band will hit British shores for the lives dates in May with a show at Edinburgh's Usher Hall on May 26 starting the tour. From there, the band will perform in Manchester and London before ending on May 29 in Nottingham with a gig at the city's Capital FM Arena. Ticket details for the live shows can be found below.

Earlier this month The Flaming Lips joined forces with John Lennon's son Sean Lennon to perform their cover of The Beatles 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds' on The Late Show With David Letterman. Similar versions Beatles songs were performed by Broken Bells, Lauryn Hill and Sting as part of the show's weeklong tribute to the Fab Four in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the band's first performance on The Ed Sullivan Show.
