Metallica and Linkin Park will play headline slots at the British leg of the Sonisphere festival at Knebworth this summer.
The Knebworth leg of the bash, which takes place in other European countries with slightly varying line-ups, will take place on August 1 and 2.

The festival will take place across two stages, with stage times organised so that only one band is playing at once, so fans can go back and forth between acts.
Mastodon and Lamb Of God are the other acts confirmed so far, with more to be announced soon.
