How To Get Tickets For The Stone Roses 2017 Tour

Following The Stone Roses’ take over of Manchester’s Etihad Stadium last summer, the boys are going to head back on the road with more shows across the UK next year. Their last set of shows were definitely a triumph as they conquered their hometown once again, and even found space for new music in the shape of single ‘All For One’.

But where and when are they playing next year? Step forward, here’s the essential info on their summer 2017 shows, who’ll be supporting, how to get tickets and all the news surrounding new music and those Glastonbury rumours

Will they play new music?

When last year’s new shows were announced, no new music appeared to be on the horizon for the group. Of course, that all changed when they dropped two singles, ‘All For One’ and then ‘Beautiful Thing’ in the buildup to those shows. Though nothing has been confirmed just yet, rumours have it that the Roses actually completed three additional songs during their recording sessions at Church Studios earlier this year. Whether they will be released or even indeed make it in the live show is still just speculation, but if they are true – you can probably bet on them finding time to slip in a new one.

Are they playing anymore shows?

Currently, these are the only performances that the group have announced for 2017.

Rumours have been doing the rounds that the band are being lined up for a headline appearance at Glastonbury next summer. The fact that they’re actively touring (though the Glasgow gig does clash with the festival) and being one of the bookies’ favourites for Glasto has got some fans very excited. It has been suggested in the past that the group haven’t fancied a slot at the festival since their reunion due to the festival’s relatively small headline fee. However the upcoming shows would most definitely allow the group to fill their pockets before heading down to the farm. Watch this space…
