Kanye West could soon be appearing on David Letterman’s Netflix talk show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

According to reports in Vulture, West was interviewed by Letterman last week (January 14) at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Centre in Los Angeles.

While sources at Netflix have not yet confirmed the interview took place, a handful of anecdotes on social media about the encounter have started to appear.

Users on Instagram on Twitter have shared images from the event with Letterman and West. You can see some of these below:

The discussion, according to sources who have spoken to Vulture, focuses heavily on mental health. Both Letterman and West have spoken openly about issues with their mental health previously.

Letterman’s Netflix talk show debuted last year and has featured a wide array of guests including Jay Z, Tiny Fey, Barack Obama and Malala Yousafzai.

Recently, West gave listeners a brief glimpse of his new music during the latest instalment of his Sunday Service sessions.

The rapper began the first instalment of the weekly event earlier this month, and it saw him being joined by a gospel choir for a soulful take on songs including ‘Ghost Town’, ‘Father Stretch My Hands’ and ‘Heard ‘Em Say.’

But in the latest offering, Kanye dipped into new music for the first time. The session took place yesterday (January 20) and saw him debuting new track ‘We’ll Find A Way’. It’s unclear if it will feature on forthcoming album ‘Yandhi‘.
