Bruce Springsteen has dedicated a song to a fan who gave him a copy of the US constitution amended to mock Donald Trump.
Springsteen played Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center last night (September 11) when he told the crowd how he was given a pocket copy of the US constitution.
He added: “It does say ‘Fuck Trump’ on the front of it. And this next song was his request.” He then played ‘Long Walk Home’ from his 2007 album ‘Magic’.

Springsteen plays the final date of his US ‘River’ tour on Wednesday at Foxborough Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts. The tour has seen Springsteen break the record for his longest-ever US shows three times, having eventually played for 4hrs 4mins at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday.
Local government officials in Foxborough have voted to extend the stadium’s curfew by 15 minutes to 11:30pm, in case Springsteen decides to play an epic set. His longest ever show was 4hrs 6mins, in Finland in 2012.
Meanwhile, Springsteen has announced a nine-date reading tour of book stores in the US starting on September 27 at his local Barnes And Noble bookshop in Freehold, New Jersey. The readings coincided with his autobiography Born To Run, out the same week.
An Australian tour is expected to be announced this week.
