Fan uncovers name of new Coldplay album?

Forum member thinks their first album since 2008 will be called 'Mylo Xyloto'

A Coldplay fan has possibly discovered the name of the band’s forthcoming album after searching for information on their frontman on the Performing Rights Society website.

The follow up to 2008’s ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’ is expected to be released on October 28, reports Gigwise and there’s a chance that it could have the rather strange title of ‘Mylo Xyloto’.

The member of the Coldplaying.com fan forum wrote:

I’m a member of PRS and (as a member) you can search their online database of registered songs. I typed in Chris Martin and looked at all the newly registered work under ‘Christopher Anthony John Martin’ and a song called ‘Mylo Xyloto’ was registered on 6th July 2011!

The track’s registered songwriters include all of Coldplay as well as producer Brian Eno. Another new track registered by Chris Martin is ‘Up With The Birds’, which lists Leonard Cohen as a co-songwriter, most likely meaning that the band have sampled the legendary songwriter and poet.
