It's taken a while - but 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' will be with us shortly...

COLDPLAY‘s second album ‘A RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD’ will be released in August.

The group have almost completed ‘A Rush Of Blood To The Head’ with producer Ken Nelson. The main theme running through the work is “how things must be done today”, according to Martin.

The album was delayed earlier this year while the band painstakingly finished off the final mixes. However, the release date has been confirmed as August 26. The first single from the album is ‘In My Place’, while other songs set for inclusion include ‘The Scientist’, ‘Daylight’, ‘A Whisper’, ‘God Put A Smile Upon Your Face’, ‘A Rush of Blood To The Head’, ‘Amsterdam’, ‘Politik’ and ‘Warning Sign’.

Fans will have the opportunity to hear the songs on a small UK tour in June, which calls at: Edinburgh Queens Hall (June 19)

Liverpool Mountfield Hall (20)

Bath Pavilion (24)

Portsmouth Pyramids (25)

Truro Hall (26)
