Listen to Foals’ ‘funk-punk’ new single ‘Sunday’

The band's long-awaited fifth studio album is now just under two weeks away

Foals have dropped their latest new track ‘Sunday’ ahead of the imminent release of their album ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1’ – listen to the song below.

The four-piece will release their long-awaited fifth studio album on March 8, and they’ve already previewed the LP with the singles ‘Exits’ and ‘On The Luna’.

The run-up to the arrival of the first part of ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’ has continued today (February 25) with the release of ‘Sunday’. Premiering on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show earlier this evening, the song is split into two parts: the first is a slow-burning but grand and sweeping soundscape, before it then segues into what the song’s official press release remarkably describes as “a thrilling, psychedelic funk-punk burst of energy”.
