Incident took place at KROQ Weenie Roast in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 14)
Garbage singer Shirley Manson suffered a fall during a festival performance in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The alt-pop band performed at KROQ Weenie Roast in LA on Saturday (May 14) when Manson stumbled off the stage during a rendition of 1998 song ‘Special’.
Manson appeared unhurt and managed to continue performing the song. Watch fan-shot footage below.
The band later took to Facebook to write of the incident: “So we got the first show of ‘Strange Little Birds’ [album cycle] under our belt yesterday. Could have been worse. Could have been better. There are always monsters to chase in dreams”.
Garbage will release new album ‘Strange Little Birds’ on the band’s own label STUNVOLUME on June 10.
The record has been described by Manson as “less fussed over” than anything Garbage have ever made, with Butch Vig adding that the band “fell in love with immediacy.”
