Ex-Happy Mondays guitarist PAUL ‘WAGS’ WAGSTAFF has joined Irish trio Snow Patrol as touring guitarist.
Wagstaff is to stay with the band throughout their current UK and Ireland tour, handling the extra duties usually taken on by Belle & Sebastian‘s Richard Colburn and Mick Cooke. The pair are currently in the studio and unavailable for any on-the-road duty.
The tour kicked off in Sheffield last Saturday (September 23) and winds up in Cardiff on October 19.

Meanwhile, Snow Patrol release new single ‘Ask Me How I Am’ through Jeepster on November 6. It is the first track off forthcoming second album ‘When It’s All Over We Still Have To Clear Up’.
