Jack White performs Led Zeppelin’s ‘The Lemon Song’ live with Robert Plant – watch

Jack White has covered Led Zeppelin‘s 1969 track ‘The Lemon Song’ with the band’s very frontman Robert Plant.

Performing at Lollapalooza Argentina on Saturday night (March 21), the former White Stripes singer invited Plant on stage to provide vocals for the ‘Led Zeppelin II’ album cut. White has been performing the song recently on his ‘Lazaretto’ world tour. Watch below.

Meanwhile, Jack White’s Third Man Records are re-releasing Jay Z’s ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ album on vinyl. Initially announced in 2013, the reissue will be available in the form of a seven-inch box set. Third Man Records released the collection over the weekend (March 20).

The set consists of eight seven-inch vinyl records, each containing a single track from the album on each side. The singles will also come in “a clothbound binder, featuring scratchoff pages that reveal lyrics and photos”, supposedly playing on a “theme of redacted government documents”.

White was also recently revealed as the mystery buyer behind the $300,000 sale of Elvis Presley’s first record. The sale was initially reported to have gone to an unknown internet bidder, now known to be White. The former White Stripes man will now reissue the record on vinyl for Record Store Day on April 18.

Jack White released ‘Lazaretto’, his second solo album, in June 2014. It followed on from ‘Blunderbuss’ in 2012.
