Lily Allen returns with ‘Trigger Bang’, her first single in three years

Sheezus is back...

Lily Allen has returned with ‘Trigger Bang’, her first single in three years – featuring the efforts of London rapper Giggs.

After it was unofficially leaked over the weekend, Allen has now released the melodic track in full – which sees her getting nostalgic as she reminisces on her childhood.

“When I was young i was blameless, playing with rude boys and trainers, I had a foot in the rave cause I was attracted to danger, I never got home for neighbours”, Allen affirms on the track, which has also been produced by London pop maestro Fryers.

Meanwhile, Allen recently revealed that she once turned down the opportunity to play a gig and be paid in “hundred of thousands of Bitcoin” – which would now be worth billions, making her richer than Madonna and Queen Elizabeth II.

In a Tweet from 2014, the ‘Sheezus’ singer brands herself an ‘idiot’ for refusing to play a gig for the virtual world of Second Life in which she would have been paid the show fee in the digital currency.  “As if,” she responded at the time – unaware of the massive boom in value of Bitcoin that was yet to come.

As well as announcing a “brutal, shocking and uncomfortable memoir” of her life, Allen also made headlines when she recently accused James Corden of ‘coming on to her‘ during a TV interview.
