Metric have announced details of their forthcoming sixth studio album ‘Pagans In Vegas’. See the record’s artwork above.
The LP is due out on September 18 and will include previously released track ‘The Shade’, as well as a brand new song, ‘Cascades’. “As always, we encourage you to sing along with the robots,” wrote the band via YouTube. Click below to listen to ‘Cascades’.

The Toronto band’s most recent album was the Polaris Prize-nominated ‘Synthetica’, released in 2012. Speaking at the time of the release of ‘Synthetica’, they described the record to NME as “a big culmination of our 10 years as Metric”, continuing, “We accomplished a lot of milestones, like making it in our own studio. Recording at Electric Lady studios in New York too was a big dream realised. It was gruelling, as it always is, but we’re really happy with the results.”
