Chris Rock has posted a picture online that he claims shows himself, Jack White and others working on a new André 3000 album.
The Outkast star has not released a studio album since his group’s 2003 effort ‘Speakerboxxx/The Love Below’. More recently, he teamed up with Kanye West on ‘The Life Of Pablo’ track ’30 Hours’.
Comedian Rock uploaded a photo of himself with André 3000, White, fellow comic Dave Chappelle, plus DJ D-Nice and Jarobi White overnight.
The caption claimed that the group were “hard at work on the new Andre 3000 album”, although this has not been officially verified. See the photo beneath.
Another photo has also surfaced showing Rock in the studio with Andre.

André 3000 recently hinted at an upcoming music project, saying: “I still get time to think about music. [Shooting TV and film projects] is not so bad – it kind of puts you in the place where you’re fiend-ing to do music.”
He added: “I’ve been holding [back] for a long time, so now I’m really interested in figuring out some type of music to do. I’m always recording. I’d like to put out some kind of music project, but we’ll see.”
Outkast previously reformed for a series of shows which the singer said he regretted in 2014, describing the reformation as “selling out”. He later backtracked over his comments. “It was a great thing; everybody enjoyed themselves. The fans got something they really didn’t expect. And I didn’t expect that at the time – we just went out and had a good time.”
