OUTKAST‘s ANDRE 3000 is in talks to play rock legend JIMI HENDRIX in an upcoming film.
Directed by the Hughes brothers, the film will follow Hendrix‘s stardom, up till his death aged 27 in 1970, reports XFM.

Andre will also star in Elmore Leonard’s ‘Be Cool’, the sequel to ‘Get Shorty’, with Danny DeVito.
As previously reported on NME.COM, OutKast will appear in their own film ‘Speakerboxxx’, a musical set in an undertakers. Directed by Brian Barber, the soundtrack to the film will be the band’s next album.
