Rihanna and Drake on course to end Matt Cardle’s chart reign

Plus Plan B looks likely to return to the top of the album charts

Rihanna‘s single ‘What’s My Name’ looks set to topple The X Factor 2010 winner Matt Cardle from the UK singles chart Number One position this Sunday (January 9), according to official midweek figures.

The track, which features Drake, was initially released in November but has not yet reached the top of the charts in the UK. Cardle‘s ‘When We Collide’, a retitled cover of Biffy Clyro‘s ‘Many Of Horror’, is currently at Number Two in the midweek chart.

Meanwhile, in the UK albums chart, Plan B looks set to return to the Number One spot for the first time in eight months. ‘The Defamation Of Strickland Banks’ is currently outselling its nearest rival, Rihanna‘s ‘Loud’.
