Rapper pops to a house in south London after making an appeal via Twitter
Stormzy invited himself to watch Soccer AM and smoke weed with two fans over the weekend.
The grime MC sent an appeal out to his fans via Twitter to watch the popular Sky football show after he did a pre-recorded interview set to air on the programme.
Stormzy wrote: “Can someone record soccer am for me I’ll come round later and watch it dead serious”.
Stormzy also followed it up by stating that he wanted to go to somebody’s house in south London where “we can bun a zoot as well lol”, making reference to smoking weed.
The rapper received a barrage of invites but he chose Sam Rankin and George McMahon’s house. He later posted the following picture of himself with the pair smoking a joint. See below.
Last week Stormzy leapt 99 places up the UK Singles Chart with his freestyle single ‘Shut Up’, to beat The X Factor winner Louisa Johnson.
The single, which reached Number 8, beat Johnson’s cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘Forever Young’ by one place.
‘Shut Up’ started climbing the charts after Stormzy played British boxing heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua into the ring in his fight against Dillian Whyte.
The rapper then launched a campaign to get the single to Number One for Christmas and bookies slashed his odds to 10/1 – ahead of Adele’s ‘Hello’ (25/1), but behind Johnson’s ‘Forever Young’ (8/11).
Justin Bieber and the NHS Choir are currently battling it out for the Christmas Number One spot.
