The band will play The O2, London on December 16
The 1975 have announced their biggest UK headline show to date.
The band will take to the stage at The O2, London on December 16 for a massive gig with “expanded visuals and a brand new set list”. This will include songs they have never played live before.
The 1975 released their second album ‘I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’ in February and saw it debut at Number One in both the US and UK. Their debut album ‘The 1975’ also reached Number One in the UK when it came out in 2013.
“I just want to be the band of this time,” Matt Healy told NME during The 1975’s cover interview earlier this year. “The one. The four boys in a band who play instruments.” The 1975 are currently on tour in the US but will return to Europe for a run of summer festival sets including appearances at Glastonbury, T In The Park and Wireless.
