The BBC accidentally aired footage of a sex toy during an interview with Stormzy

The BBC accidentally aired explicit footage of a festival-goer waving a sex toy during an interview with Stormzy earlier today.

As he appeared on BBC Breakfast to discuss the video for new single ‘Blinded By Your Grace Pt 2’, Stormzy was shown footage of his triumphant Other Stage set at Glastonbury Festival in June.

But it soon emerged that the footage hadn’t been given a proper once-over, as it featured an appearance from a festival-goer who appeared to be waving a rubber penis while dressed as a policeman.

The explicit moment wasn’t noticed by Stormzy or presenters Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty, but it didn’t miss the sharp eyes of viewers at home.

“You just showed a very large “appendage” being waved around by a guy on live tv during the Stormzy segment”, one Twitter user told the BBC Breakfast account.

Another remarked: “If it’s not C-Bombs on CBeebies it’s THIS at 9am!”

Meanwhile, Stormzy recently proved that he’s full of Christmas spirit after teaming up with Idris Elba to deliver presents to children at an East London hospital.

After donning Father Christmas outfits, the pair dished out gifts at Newham University Hospital.

Actor and Newham native Elba told Evening Standard that he wanted to “bring a smile to the children who are unwell”.

He continued: “I always wanted to give back in this way, to Children’s Hospitals. With a 15-year-old daughter and three-year-old son myself, I can only imagine the anguish and maybe even fear these children and their parents are experiencing.”
