The Charlatans, Four Tet, Diana Vickers and Razorlight‘s Johnny Borrell are set to play shows inside a London Oxfam shop this September.
Playing to kick off this year’s Oxjam month of music, the likes of Pearl & The Puppets and dan le sac vs Scroobius Pip also play.
Meanwhile, The Horrors‘ Tom Furse will join The Charlatans for their show on September 27.
Speaking of playing the gig, The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess explained: “We’ve been playing shows for 20 years now, but performing in an Oxfam shop has to go down as the most unusual venue we’ve ever played. I’ve been buying music from Oxfam shops for years, so it’s great to be able to take our music onto the shop floor and kick off a whole month of great music with a global impact.”
The confirmed line-up so far, is:
The Charlatans (plus Tom Furse), dan le sac vs Scroobius Pip (September 27)
Diana Vickers, Gabriella Cilmi, Pearl & The Puppets (28)
Johnny Borrell (29)
Four Tet (30)
Oxjam takes place throughout October, with Oxfam shows across the country launching music-related events to raise money to fight poverty.
