The View announce new single

'How Long' will be the first track taken from the band's new album 'Cheeky For A Reason'

The View have announced details of their new single, to be released on Cooking Vinyl on July 9.

The song, titled ‘How Long’, is taken from the Dundee band’s fourth studio album, ‘Cheeky For A Reason’, and will be available as a digital download from iTunes.

The track, the first to be taken from the new record, will be released on the same day as the album. Those who download the song will also get a bonus track, titled ‘Mile of Mine’, which doesn’t appear on the LP.

‘Cheeky For A Reason’ was recorded at Liverpool’s Motor Museum Studios with Arctic Monkeys producer Mike Crossey. The new record will contain songs titled ‘AB (We Need Treatement)’, ‘Bunker’, ‘The Clock’, ‘Anfield Row’ and ‘Hole In The Bed’.

The band recently stopped by the NME office to play an acoustic version of ‘Bunker’ for a tiny, invite-only group of fans. You can watch the video of the band perform the track by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking.
