‘Ghostbusters’ soundtrack tracklisting revealed

The female-fronted remake of the classic movie will be in cinemas on July 15

The full tracklisting for the new soundtrack to the Ghostbusters has now been revealed.

The 14-song soundtrack features a host of new material including Zayn Malik, Mark Ronson and Wolf Alice.

It will also feature the original movie’s classic theme tune, performed by Ray Parker Jr.

As Digital Spy reports, Zayn’s contribution is titled ‘wHo’. As previously confirmed, the soundtrack also includes a track from Fall Out Boy, ‘Ghostbusters (I’m Not Afraid)’, which features a verse from Missy Elliott.

Directed by Bridesmaids‘ director Paul Feig, Ghostbusters stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. The first trailer became the most disliked trailer on YouTube.

Defending the critics, original Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd said: “As originator of the original: Saw test screening of new movie. Apart from brilliant, genuine performances from the cast both female and male, it has more laughs and more scares than the first 2 films plus Bill Murray is in it! As one of millions of man-fans and Ray Stantz, I’m paying to see that and bringing all my friends!”

The film is released in cinemas on July 15.
