‘Stranger Things’ star David Harbour took yearbook photos with a fan and the results are incredible

Jim Hopper gatecrashed a high school senior's photos

Stranger Things actor David Harbour has kept his promise by posing for a high school student’s yearbook photos.

Back in October, a student called Damaris tweeted to Harbour – who plays Jim Hopper in the hit Netflix show – to ask how many retweets it would take for the star to “take my senior photos with me”.

Harbour replied to say 25,000 retweets, adding: “And I get to wear the school sweatshirt and hold a trombone”.

Damaris’ original tweet was retweeted over 30,000 times and Harbour duly delivered with his promise, inviting the student to the Netflix students to get the shots professionally taken.

In the photos, Harbour is indeed seen wearing the school’s official sweatshirt and holding a trombone. In other pictures, he’s got pom-poms too.

Harbour posted the photos to Instagram, writing: “Voted most likely to hijack someone’s high school senior photos 24 years later. Many thanks to @postydamaris and her kind family and @iamtommyg photography for making a dream come true and proving my high school classmates right!!”

Damaris has also posted behind the scenes video from the shoot. See beneath.
