You might’ve heard about Reeps One. He’s one of the finest UK beatboxers around, recently collaborating with Baaba Maal on the Africa Express project and playing the Royal Albert Hall later this year. Watch out Beardyman.
The video above sees his rendition of ‘Metal Jaw’ by Clay Pigeon a metal ska-punk hardcore band he used to be in. This is vocal percussion on another level and a step up from the been-there-done-that traditional beatboxing. Pretty cool.
