JTBC reports that the pair had “naturally became distant due to their busy schedules” and broke up as a result, citing an industry insider, as translated by Soompi.

Jisoo’s agency, YG Entertainment, has since confirmed JTBC‘s report in a statement to Sports Chosun. “It is true that Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun broke up,” the K-pop company said.

Back in early August, South Korean news publication Dispatch reported that Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun had recently “started their relationship” and were “in the stage of getting to know each other with good feelings”.

The report was later confirmed by both Jisoo and Ahn’s agencies, YG Entertainment and FN Entertainment, respectively.

Jisoo shot to fame as a member of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK, alongside members RoséJennie and Lisa. Earlier this year, the singer became the last BLACKPINK member to go solo, releasing her long-awaited debut single ‘Flower’.
