Architects announce five-date December UK tour – ticket details

Brighton band plan their biggest headline shows to date

Architects have announced details of their biggest UK headline tour to date.

The Brighton hardcore band, who released their fourth album ‘The Here And Now’ earlier this year, will play five UK shows at the end of 2011.

The tour kicks off at Glasgow‘s O2 ABC venue on December 14 and runs until December 18, when the band take over Bristol‘s O2 Academy.

The band are also booked to open the Main Stage at Reading And Leeds Festivals at the end of the summer before they tour North America with Bring Me The Horizon and Parkway Drive.

Architects frontman Sam Carter recently told NME that the band had begun work on the follow-up to ‘The Here And Now’, revealing that they had four songs written and saying: “We’ve got four so far, one’s heavy, one’s pretty soft, as far as a direction it could go either way.”

Architects will play:

O2 Glasgow ABC (December 14)
Manchester Academy (15)
HMV London Forum (16)
HMV Institute Birmingham (17)
O2 Academy Bristol (18)
