Band release new album 'Strange Little Birds' in June
Garbage have shared a clip for their latest track ‘Empty’.
The alternative rock band will release new album ‘Strange Little Birds’ on the band’s own label STUNVOLUME on June 10. ‘Empty’ is lifted from that release.
The record has been described by singer Shirley Manson as “less fussed over” than anything Garbage have ever made, with Butch Vig adding that the band “fell in love with immediacy” when recording it.

Garbage singer Shirley Manson recently made headlines after she suffered a fall during a festival performance in Los Angeles.
The alt-pop band performed at KROQ Weenie Roast earlier this month (May 14) when Manson stumbled off the stage during a rendition of 1998 song ‘Special’. Manson appeared unhurt and managed to continue performing the song.
The band later took to Facebook to write of the incident: “So we got the first show of ‘Strange Little Birds’ [album cycle] under our belt yesterday. Could have been worse. Could have been better. There are always monsters to chase in dreams”.
