‘Led Zeppelin IV’ and ‘Houses Of The Holy’ are both reissued in expanded editions on October 27, following recent releases of ‘Led Zeppelin’, Led ‘Zeppelin II’ and ‘Led Zeppelin III’.

Both albums are accompanied by a second disc of companion audio comprised entirely of unreleased music related to that album. Formats include single and deluxe double edition CDs, single and deluxe double vinyl LP, download and a Super Deluxe Boxed Set featuring the CD and vinyl editions, a book and a numbered print of the album cover.

Released in November 1971, ‘Led Zeppelin IV’ is the third best-selling album in US history, having been certified 23 times platinum by the RIAA.

Meanwhile, Led Zeppelin‘s ‘Whole Lotta Love’ has been named the Greatest Guitar Riff Of All Time by BBC Radio 2 listeners. Other riffs featured in the top ten, which was revealed by Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2 on August 25, included Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and ‘Back In Black’ by AC/DC. Speaking about their win, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page said he was surprised by its success. “I’m knocked out by this, because I didn’t expect that to happen,” he said.
