The Eagles to perform ‘Hotel California’ album in full for first time ever

Two special shows are scheduled for September

The Eagles have announced that they will perform ‘Hotel California’ in its entirety at special shows this year.

The classic album was released back in 1976 and contains the single ‘New Kid in Town’, along with its Grammy winning title track. It’s the US’ third biggest-selling record of all time, with the band’s Greatest Hits compilation in the Number 1 spot.

Now, the legendary group have shared plans to perform their definitive record in full for the very first time.

The two shows – also featuring a set of greatest hits – will take place in Las Vegas this September. The two-night outing will feature the band line-up of Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill.

You can find more details on the group’s official website, with tickets available to buy on Friday, April 12 from 10am PDT (6pm BST).

The ‘Hotel California’ shows will follow the band’s huge UK summer tour, which includes a night at London’s Wembley Stadium. The Eagles will also take to the stage at arenas in Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow, and Leeds throughout June and July.
