Eleven to return for ‘Stranger Things’ series two

Millie Bobby Brown will reprise her role for the show's second season

Stranger Things favourite Eleven – played by actor Millie Bobby Brown – will be returning to the show for series two, sources confirm.

Last week, Brown shared an image on Instagram of her playfully posing with actor David Harbour, who plays police chief Jim Hopper, along with the caption, “Shhhhh @dkharbour don’t say a word! #s02 #strangerthings @netflix @strangerthingstv.”

Netflix are yet to officially confirm the return of the character but sources close to TVLine have confirmed that the actor will be back to play Eleven. It’s not clear how many episodes Brown will appear in, but the site claims that she will be a regular on the show once again.

Brown recently responded to fans dressing up as Eleven during Halloween. “At Comic-Con, people dress up as her,” she told Interview Magazine. “It’s very rewarding in a way, and as strange as Stranger Things. People are embracing her character and trying to portray her. I think it’s nice to see what different people think of her character.

“I’m cool with people dressing up as Eleven for Halloween. I definitely want to open my door and give them candy.” Amy Schumer and boyfriend Ben Hanisch were some of the celebrities who dressed up as the kids from Stranger Things for a Halloween party.

Schumer wore a curly-haired wig to become Dustin, while Hanisch slipped into a pink dress and bloodied his nose to impersonate Eleven.

To complete the look, the couple even rode bikes to their Halloween party. In a clip shared on Instagram, Schumer says, “Eleven, wait up it’s me!” in the style of Gaten Matarazzo’s Dustin.
